However, in the artificial water systems of buildings and industries it finds a favourable environment to grow and multiply. That’s why it is important that all facilities which use water in their operation process, produce aerosols and are located inside or outside of buildings for collective use, industrial facilities or means of transport which may be liable to becoming focal points for the spread of the disease should have a prevention and control protocol during their operation, service tests or maintenance, as stated in the provisions of Spanish Royal Decree 865/2003.
